Nadi sweda is a unique form of Swedana procedure, where perspiration is induced by passing steam over the whole body or specific part of the body by using a special instrument called as Nadi sweda yantra.Herbs added with water is boiled in the nadi swedana yantra and steam is generated. The generated steam is allowed to pass through the tube fitted to the instrument.

Mode of Action of Nadi Sweda

Increase metabolism: As we do swedana karma, the metabolism increases

Vaso dilatation: Vasodilatation facilitates improved circulation and there by detoxification at cellular level and fasten up the healing process
